"Two Choices" Life here on earth is what you make of it, It could be hell, It could be heaven. To what you choose, you will submit Hell is the end if to choose rebel Heaven to those whos wrongs forgiven You have two choices but one chance, Be wise Be shrewd Its to one love you must romance Dont be snared in the deceit of lies Encompass yourself in those which dont delude As you come to fork in the road, Stop and ponder, Your destiny, As a treasure you lay up, to corrode? Where moth and rust does error? Or where thieves do not take when see. Each choice is its own empire with its emperor. One, an evil Torturer, Two, an omnipotent Father, Choose the master that you desire. But wait, for there is more to make sure, you're sure For each there is a path you must wander. Remember your life in two phases deemed. Pleasure led to pain, Ridicule for reward won. Do not be quick to answer for nothing is as it seems For the later of the two is what you truly gain. Because pleasure is but for a season. So this is what I leave with you now, Dont leave unprepared, Dont leave undone, Live your life to the standard set up by your vow, For the ticket you will choose, there you'll be fared. No life ends without an eternity won. |

"Fight On"
John L. Shepard was called to war, To bravely fight to defend our nation. He left a wife, son and much more, Just to complete this dangerous mission.
He gathered his gun, ammunition, and things, Then kissed his wife and embraced his son. John then turned to what this different life would bring, Oh, when would the end of this war come?
Time came, time flew, Yet the bloody battle raged on. And John Shepard fought bravely through, Until the shot fired, found its mark, and he was gone.
Word was sent home in letter form. The hand shook and paper floated down, Followed by tears of anguish and sorrow, hearts torn. The body of this brave soul was never found.
With courageous men, John died, So we could stand on freedom's shore. Now, we must fight and stem the tide, To keep what others fought bravely for.
more to come!! don't be afeared! |
